let's get to know each otherrr

nowadays it seems like everyone has a blog, whether it be about fashion, keeping people informed while they're abroad, music preferences or just blogs to write random factoids about their day-to-day doings.

i guess i've tried to keep blogs in the past, but i've always ended up forgetting to blog or just dropping them. but lately, i've been so bored since there really isn't anything to do this summer. all i've been doing lately is online shopping and looking at clothes and shoes hahaha... which as totalllyyy not been good for my bank account.. and when i'm not shopping, i'm on hypem listening to the newist hipster tunes. oh the joy.

but anyhoo, i figured i should start a blog where i can share my favorites that i've found. that way i can remember the things i like and have them recorded instead of just buying everything i see hahahahaa. then i can also put some of my favorite new songs out there too.

and honestly, there is nothing i enjoy more than talking about myself and things i like. so here is my own little soapbox! :)

now before i get started on the good stuff, gonna do a short "survery" about my favorite things!


Favorite Brand: marc jacobs (favorite favorite favoriteeee), chloe, elizabeth and james, d&g, alice + olivia
Favorite Designer: marc jacobs, elie saab, dvf, mcqueen, christian siriano! <3 style="font-weight: bold;">Favorite Shoe Designer: via spiga, tory burch but in a dream world, all i'd wear is jimmy choos and louboutins
Favorite Bag Designer: chanel. the first thing i buy with my first real paycheck, will be spent buying an EXTRA-LARGE quilted bag. mmmmmmmmm.
Favorite Fashion Blog: the sartorialist, lookbook.nu, or nymag's cut
Favorite Makeup Line: bare essentials and nars for lipgloss
Favorite Makeup Item: prestige eyeliner in black is a must have. and it's only like $5, which makes it the best buy ever.
Favorite Skincare Product: anything by korres or bliss
Favorite Makeup Blog: nope. don't really read makeup blogs. not that cool i guess hahaa
Favorite Music Blog: definitely hypemachine
Favorite Music Genre: i honestly listen to everything... my taste ranges from top40 hits to hipster indie rock to hyphy! haha i like to keep an open mind
Favorite General Blog: i dunno i really like celebitchy, thesuperficial, and postsecret... though i'm not sure if they count as "general blogs"
Favorite TV shows: proj runway, top chef, abdc, house, gossip girl, house, entourage, the soup, chelsea lately, psych, csi ny, and honest to god anything on the disney channel
Favorite Movies: casablanca, goonies, love actually, what happens in vegas, slumdog millionaire, notebook, brokeback, diving bell and the butterfly, adventureland, step up 2 the streets, iron man, MEAN GIRLS!!, 10 things i hate about you, and detroit rock city!! and lord of the rings!!!
Favorite Books: regeneration, mrs. dalloway, perks of being a wallflower, wide sargasso sea, lord of the flies, lord of the rings, 5 people you meet in heaven, harry potter. yes.
Favorite Food: mmmm sushiiii! if i had my way, i would eat sushi for every meal of every day until i got mercury poisoning like my faveee dramatic actor ahaha
Favorite Piece of Clothing I Own: that's like asking a mom which child is her favorite. seriously. i love everything i own hahaha, mostly because i'm a shopaholic. but the one thing i wear all the time is my fave pair of sevens skinny jeans.
Favorite Piece of Jewelry: the four rings i always wear. a diamond ring from the mom, a gold ring from my grandpa from his mom, a woven silver ring from barcelona, and a gold inscribed st. kilda ring
Favorite Go-to Accessory: a kickass pair of heels. when i move back to LA and don't have to deal with rain all the freaking time, i'm going to wear heels every minute of every day.
Favorite Fashion Guilty Pleasure: i'm a bit of trend whore... so it varies. but i really really love leggings mainly because i hate pants.
Favorite Band: ra ra riot, the whip!, lady gaga, cut copy, panic at le disco, mgmt, margot & the nuclear so sos, jack's mannequin, hush sound, hot chip, a fine frenzy, kelly clarkson, demi lovato, lily allen and if anyone ever tells you they don't love justin and britney, they're lying. and on a side note, i am totally obsessed with brendon urie. it's kinda creepy.
Favorite Actresses: rachel mcadams, keira knightley, kate winslet, kristen stewart (mainly for how gorgeous she is.. not for her "acting chops"), natalie portman, penelope cruz, tina fey, and i can't think of anyone else right now. but i love hollywood and the people in it.
Favorite Actors: sean faris, chris pine, johnny depp, rob pattz, brad pitt, chace crawford, brad cooper, christian bale, george clooney, orlando bloom and tons of other men.
Favorite City: LOS ANGELES! will always be closest to my heart. but i love nyc, pittsburgh(when the weather's not shitty), madrid, barcelona, sevilla, rome, and paris. one day i will live in europe in a villa... what can i say, i'm a romantic.
Favorite Sport: lakers, steelers, and all teams USC. love.
Favorite Animals: penguins, puppies and squirrels.
Favorite Model: i don't really have a favorite but i guess i like sasha pivovarova and gisele.
5 random facts: 1. i am very short, 2. i wanna be a fashion/costume designer or a wedding planner one day, 3. i sometimes can't express myself in words, so instead i use sounds and hand gestures, 4. all my friends think i'm an alcoholic, 5. i have a tattoo in braille on my left wrist. it's probably the most commented thing about me.
